EDWOODS was created by Ted and Simone Chatain, an idea conceived from their country chic wedding in 2014. Guests who attended the celebration were gifted the first of Edwoods creations, and from this humble beginning, the brand grew.
A key difference to all our products is the individual craftsmanship and materials used for each piece. Made 100% by our own two hands, we use only the finest Tasmanian timbers including Huon Pine, Blackwood, Myrtle and Sassafras - sourced from ecologically sustainable locations around the south of the island. Each bow tie is then given its own unique identity with a replaceable fabric centrepiece, making each bow tie an individual expression of its wearer.
We are now found not only online but in various boutique shopfronts around the country, as well as being regular attendees of the internationally renowned Salamanca Market on Hobart's historic waterfront.
